Humanites and Social Science Electives

The electrical engineering curriculum requires at least 18 credits of courses in the humanities and social sciences. These elective courses should be selected to meet the requirements given below. Lists of approved courses meeting the given requirements are attached.

1.  University Core Requirement: a total of at least 14 credits 
    from lists C-H and C-SS with at least 6 credits from list C-H and at 
    least 6 credits from list C-SS.

2.  Department of Electrical Engineering Requirement for Depth: 
    at least 3 upper-division credits from either list UD-H or list UD-SS.

3.  Additional Department of Electrical Engineering Requirement: additional
    credits as required so that a total of at least 18 Humanities and Social
    Science credits is earned.  Courses may be selected from lists C-H,
    C-SS, UD-H, UD-SS, EE-H, and EE-SS.
